Learning Japanese

Here are a couple of resources that I will be adding to my link list.

Free Japanese Lessons contains lessons on the alphabets, grammar, sentence structure and phrases. The text sections are not cluttered up with graphics, so they can be printed and taken on the go.

The site also has a large selection of videos. The videos aren't limited to classroom-type tutorials; they also include fun productions about food and culture. The Japanese instructor on many of the language videos speaks with an Australian accent. Quite interesting in itself, although this is probably not that unusual.

Need an in-depth study guide? Visit Nihongo Resources. Its no-nonsense content includes a 308-page book (pdf), An Introduction to Japanese Syntax, Grammar and Language, upon which the instruction is based.

I'll add more language links as I find and preview them. Have fun!
